Are you going to be installing an aftermarket Jet kit? Most aftermarket jet kits will give you the flexibility you need to do exactly what you described. I know Dynojet has a stage 1 kit available for the Z250 for around $60. I have to see or hear of it's increase in performance, but I would suspect atleast 5-7% increase of power through all gears. With the Yoshi slip-on, you can move that percentage up to around 10%, which in the Z's case would be a few (5-7) mph gain......just my $.02.
