from what i hear they are good pipes but to get the best out of it u should go with the porting and engine work. when a company builds a pipe it is designed to work with there own porting and engine work... this pipe is a hi hi performance pipe, it was recommended to me not to use it without engine mods because of the pipe being so fat pretty much but there pipes and silencers are around 380 without shipping

heres there website http://www.ftzracing.com/ATVpg.html

Hey guys Im new to the forums, I have a 86 zuk 250r and kinda felt alone on the net as far as people with these quads go. Just got mine about 4 months ago. Bored .40, weisco piston boysen reeds fmf pipe lotsa fun. Kinda hard on it though I broke the frame jumpin it. where the peg attaches to the frame. I just cut some sch 40 pipe down the length and covered the cracked area then just welded it up. Kinda nasty lookin but it is not broken anymore.

Very resourceful stoopidass. Let us know how it holds up. I need to fix a crack in mine also, mine is in the front though. I uploaded a picture of it. Cant really see crack but it shows location of it. Please let me know if anyone else has a crack in the same place and what you did to remedy or what you think caused it besides riding it like they're supposed to be ridden. The pictures are in my bio waiting for approval.

so all in all how strong are the lt frames.... i have a 87 im building for mx.. would a set of pro-pegs be stronger than the stock foot pegs....does anyone make a set of propegs for the lt?.... how much stronger would the frame be if i had the whole thing rewelded at all the stress points then powdercoated?

is a lt really worth building for mx?

wouldnt really like the frame breaking in half in the middle of a moto..... that would blow!!!

sorry for all the ?'s. jsut like to know ur guys opinion

WAS400, Inspect the frame closely paying extra attention to places where paint is chip esp. near joints. Repair cracks as necessary and weld gussets in strategic locations and the frame will be fine. The gussets should prevent future cracks. It would be nice if someone would post pictures of their gusset job. If your frame is completely stripped, be careful not to weld somehing in place where it will be in the way of putting it back together.
