Default help with front sand tires on Z

Hey guys. My dads gonna get some front sand tires for his Z and hes thinking about shark fins cuz I got them on my rappy and them seem good. My sister has dune trackers on her R and their also good but the other pair of dune trackers I had we didnt like. Also what about dune streakers/smooth buffs? I thought they were mainly for drags but their description says great turning ability or something so I dont really know. What do you guys think.

Probably the best turning fronts are the Dune Trackers. What was the problem you had with the one pair? For pure fit and finish it's hard to beat the Skat Trac Mohawks--tho' they do slide a little more than the Trackers. I am intrigued by the new ITP Sand Star fronts with the almost double cupped rib down the middle. Personally I wouldn't go with the Shark Fins, and the Buffs are pretty much for hill shooting/dragging, not much turning ability.

Alright thanks for the reply. The problem we had with the first pair of dune trackers was that they seemed to pull you around alot and you always had to be paying close attention and they jerk ya. Do you know the cost of the sand stars?

Kinda strange...never really had a problem with the Trackers "jerking," always seemed pretty smooth to me. I think one of the locals here is selling the ITP's for about $220 for rim mounted fronts, and $230+- for the paddles. If you're concerned about the Trackers jerking you around then I would recommend the Mohawks.
