Default Friend wants a Z-400

Ok my friend is looking into buying a z 400 cause he went riding yesterday and he got hooked But he heard that the z 400 has a problem with the axle and he was wondering what that was because he dosent want any problems he just wants a quick and reliable quad...

Are there any other problems if so what are they? if any of this was true at all

Some of the early ones have reported bent axles. I got a very early one and have had zero problems. I do not race it or beat it really hard. Mostly dunes, but I have aired it out a little and I have had zero problems. The factory has supposedly updated the axle on the newer ones.

I got my z in may and have bent the axle already, but the dealership told me that since I haven't officially raced it, warranty should cover it. I plan on getting a lifetime warranty axle from lonestar anyway though, and just keep the replacement stock axle for backup when I get it. Other than that, as with any quad, get some beefier handlebars, and he should be good to go.
