Default 38mm on lt250r

I just picked up a mikuni TM 38mm flatslide that I am considering puting on my 86 lt250r. IS anyone else running one of these on their quadracer? What size jets are you using? Im sure Ill have problems fitting it in the intake boot as well, any suggestions? thanks ---Joe

My 39 PWK fits up all right. I run a 170 main right now if I remember right. I ride at 3600-5000' elevation. Mine's an 87 though, different than yours.

the jetting will definately need to be richened up over my old carb due to more air flow, I am just trying to save alot of guess work by finding some one with the same mod.----Joe

I’d like that info too. I’ve got an extra carb for the LT500 that I’ve thought about putting on the 91 LT250 but I dont want to play with jetting forever to get it right again so I have not done it yet.
