Thanks Zoo I got It idling nice now I got some bad info from the guy I bought it from once I realized it was the same carb type as I had on my old cr250 I was good to go. The starting is going much better as well once I started using the procedure from UK it is starting right up. I haven't experianced a severe kick-back yet but always wear my motocross boots just in case - I'm sure it's coming someday.

just reading some old threads.
i have a coil in mine from ricky stator. i replaced them myself. he sold them to me for i think about 53 bux. i also was told that the stock stator can handle 100 watts. worst that will happen is you will fry it and have to replace it. i have some nice driving lights on mine now. 55 watts apiece. lights up nice

The only ones you'll find for 2k or less are going to be a basket case or someone who doesn't know what they have. But you never know, you might get lucky.

Y'all wanna know what an idiot I am? I looked at a 1990 Zilla a couple of years ago. It was absolutely mint and stock, the best you could ever hope to find, for 2600, and I didn't buy it. I've been beating myself up over it ever since, and now I am looking for one again, but I know I'll probably never find one like that again.
