I smoked YFZ450 all day long out at Pismo stock and mod (pipe, etc)on the flats and up dunes. but then my 88LT250R is far from stock.Paul turner pipe and silencer,Ported and polished cylinder for top end TT port, 39MM air stryker, ported Rad Valve, shaved head ,110 octane gas,K&N clamp on filter,13/42 gearing It was my TT race Quad.LOL was not even close. now on MX track YFZ has much better handling and suspension.I would love to own a YFZ as second quad though!!! just to much darn money to start off with then you want all the extras. I have dumped already way to much into my quad i have now so I dont think that will be happin anytime soon.

Sorry guys, I am a huge suzuki fan, my YFZ is the first non-suzuki I have owned, but a YFZ makes a lt205r it's b1tch in every aspect. I have not been beat my any lt205r yet, and yes I have raced ported and piped ones with the yz250 piston mod. I was even able to pull a little under 2 lengths on a zilla until he finally passed me by slowly once I was topped out. I was also able to beat my buddies banshee (ported, cool head, flat slides, prodesign intake system, and t-5's) up until I topped out and he walked on my slowly. I still have stock gearing, once I jump to a 15 tooth I hope I will be able to walk on them. I have never ridden a faster accelerating machine than my YFZ.
