eiger top speed
I've had my stock Eiger to 54 and ran out of road. There was still a little left but not much. So I'd say under ideal conditions you're looking at 55 or so, give or take a couple of mph's. Since then there have been a couple of other times trying to wind it out - top speed then was less - maybe 51 to 52, but the surface was softer.
Factor in that this is only as accurate as a 'zuki speedometer says. I run recommended tire pressure at about 4.5psi, me and my gear weigh in at about 220 or so. Trail surface, temperature and humidity will affect top speed. Safe to say that it will do 50, but will not see 60 without some mods or riding on the trailer on the interstate.
More important - The Eiger will be one of the fastest in it's class. No 400cc utility is going to run away from it.

I also have a 2003 Eiger manual. It does about 90km/h, but I have had it up to 95km/h on the cement, but then the speedos maxed out so I couldn't tell how fast I was going. That's righ the Eiger is one of the fastest 400cc ATV's out there right now, compared to the Yamaha Big Bear 400cc this thing is a speed demon!!! I was also wondering what I can do to my Eiger to make it go faster?
Thanks!
Thanks!
