i've got a hmf pipe and 145 jet in mine and it works great. the only problem is a backfire sometimes at high rpms. my friend put a 170 jet in his and he likes it. you will have to keep working with it til you find the right jet. hmf sent a 145 with my pipe for $10. i picked up some at a local bike shop for $3.

I agree the throttle response could be better, but the machine is very good. No real disappointments with mine. Keep in mind that this is a 600# machine with an auto. I've seen the HMF and Big Gun pipes on the Vinson and they are obnoxious. My motto is to buy a machine that meets your expectations in stock form. If you have to modify the motor to get the power you want, you should have bought bigger. Maybe the 5 speed would have suited your needs better if you are looking for speed.
