I hear the 400ex has better low end than the Z400. If this is the case, then I'm wondering if I go down 1 tooth on a Z400, will I have more low end? Would I still be able to beat a stock 400ex?

 

Im not sure or can say that you will beat a 400ex if you change your sprocket but the common trend is 13-41 set-up. A lot of people go down a tooth to help gain the low-end. I just figured i would add more power to the motor so i wouldnt touch the sprockets yet.
