suzuki Lt250F 4x4 clicking sounds

Default suzuki Lt250F 4x4 clicking sounds

i have a 2000 suzuki 250 and it hasent hadany problems and it has oer 2000 miles on it its very relilble,just lately when i engage my 4x4 thefront end makes a terrible clickingsound and it doesnt look like its coming from the berings. can you tell me whats wrong and maybehowto fix it. thanks for everything.

Default suzuki Lt250F 4x4 clicking sounds

If its only in 4x4 then I would say it is the cv joints in the front axle half shafts. I am not sure if it is worth it to replace just the cv's of if it's better to buy the whole half shaft (in cars and trucks we always replace the shaft) The front wheel and prob. the hub assembly needs removed. After you get everything out of the way the shaft should slide out.

thanks for your help i think the better thing to do is to replace the whole halfshafts.

your best bet is to fix the halfshafts
