So there I was...undecided and horribly depressed. I was at the bottom of the ladder when it came to riding. I decided I would sell my dirtbike after being a dirtbike goon for all my life....to buy a quad. A Z-400 in particular. I was happy with my quad for about 2 months, then decided to trade it to a guy in the same predicament as me....he wanted to try quading. We traded and I received a 2002 CRF450 for my LTZ. I was happy with my bike for another 3 months....then I faced another indecision! Tonight, Oct. 29, The same guy who traded me for my quad decides he misses his bike and completely by chance, we found each other and traded back. Only this time, he had paid $600 dollars for a pair of AC racing pro peg nerf bars and a set of renthal bars! He was very desperate to get back on his bike, so I offered him $250 for the bars and nerfs and he took it!
So in the end, i paid $250 for modifications worth $600!
All in all, I'm happy, He's happy, and the riding community lives on.

yeah, I think I would have kept the bike and/or sold it and purchased a used Z and have more money back. But then again, I would have just traded him straight across, I bet he would have done it......[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

Yea I tried the straight across thing....he wouldnt go for it. Oh and about the $600 thing I'm writing from Canada. The AC nerfs here with the pro pegs and aluminum heel scoops are like $450 and renthal bars are around $150 so yea its pretty bad. But anyways I love my Z and I'm happy to have it back.
