Default twist throttles suck

I like my twist throttle, I have the motion pro vortex 90, and I am not going to switch it back to thumb anytime soon... I will be the first to admit, they suck for motorcross. I have ridden mx a handful of times and have a difficult time with that twist throttle.... Now for dez racing that I do, that's an entirely different story. I absolutly love it, there is nothing better....

Default twist throttles suck

Twist Throttles suck on quads. I had a new motion pro on my 87 LT250R and almost lost it many of times. after that i had to wait a whole week just to get a throttle cable cause my LT is like a hybrid mix between a Quadzilla 500 and a TRX 250R. many people have different opinions but i would rather have a thumb throttle.

couldnt agree with you more, my old blaster had a twister and i lost it one time pretty bad, i as coming up a pretty steep hill, covered in mud, and as soon as i crested the hill, i still had the front wheels up then i noticed the throttle was stuck, i tried letting off the throttle and somehow it went up, standing the quad up on end and throwing me on my a$$ at around 20 mph, the quad continued to do a wheelie for about 10-15 feet until it hit a tree, rolled over sidewaysand died, this is y u should aways wear a shirt when riding, its 4 months later and you can still tell where all the scraes were

I used to have a Gunnar Gasser on my 250X and yes, twisters suck on a quad because you need to push and pull on the bars to ride a quad agressively and a twister doesn't let you do that as well. But some guys love'm. Not me though.
