Suzuki Sport Quads

The same reasons most companies quit, they were getting sued left and right. At least Suzuki held out a bit longer than most. Yamaha of course carried the torch through the high performance lean times with the awesome Banshee.

Its only the 87 quadzilla that had engine trouble. The problem was the studs kept stretching and it would blow a headgasket. (mine did after 3 years) (very quick and simple) a good remidy would be to replace the studs with hardened ones...and perminent remidy is to simply buy a 88-90 jug....(they added an extra stud)not reason enough to stay away from the 87 (there alot cheaper becuase of the fear of problems)
The 87 offered more power and more compression that the other models...they lowered the compression in 88-90, making them easier to start. Any other problems with the quadracers was just like any other 2 stroke.
I think the suzuki engine problems are more `talk` than actual problems.
