Has anyone had the Z in the sand and how did it do, what size paddles you have on it?

I've had our LT230E in the dunes twice.I purposely used bald tires on it, and it did well. Made it up Oldsmobile hill!
FYI:When at glamis, this 400ex could not go up this hill.A lil blaster zoomed right up it beside him.The 400 went back to camp and removed the paddle tires and put stock back on.He then was able to go up the hill.
I feel that the Z250 will not have enough power to turn paddles.I also feel that it will do fine on stock.

What dunes are you going to Mel?

You will be surprised how well it will do w/ out paddles. But if you do get them, go with a 6 paddle.

Default paddles for the Z 250

Added some paddles to my daughters Stock Z250 and had her race it 5 times at Pismo, the kid had Sand Sharks on his and i purchased the 8 paddle tires on rims from Rocky Mountain ATV for 120.00 for the set and boy did that they take off and stayed in front!! I sure did like the top end and take off it has now. Plus it climbs alot better. Made it up Most of the hills my Raptor took. For that bike and paddles make a big difference.

I'd say the lower the better. 12/13 front. 26 rear.

When are you going?

yo rapterowner, so u put the 8 sized paddles on them and u said they climbed better up the hills and stuff, so u kept them on after u went in the sand?, i'm confused. or was that with them still on?
