500 Vinson or 500 Scrambler?

I'm trying to make a decision on one of these but I just can't make up my mind. Please help!

Most of my riding will be on trails but I also need something that can handle small jumps, climb hills, and go through mud and rocky creeks.

I think both of these machines are nice but I need for someone to pursue the other or me one-way so I can buy one already and get to riding already.

I've had arguments on both sides but nothing that tips the scales.

Please help!!!

 

VINSON........ nice quad! ....... scrambler lacks in many dep.

 

Hmm.. 500 2-Stroke Vs. 500 4-Stroke. Not Sure. But If You Eant Something That Will Last Get A Vinson. Plus The Vinson Has 4-Wheel Drive And You Dont Have To Buy All That Darn 2-Stroke Motor Oil. Look At It This Way.. Valves Or Reeds Lol.

I Have Already Jumped. Went Through A Crapload Of Mud And The Vinson Never Slipped. The Jumping Is Great For The Suspension.

There truly is NO comparison between these machines. I presently own a Vinson however, I have ridden a friends scrambler. Honestly, I couldn't see any area that the scrambler was noteworthy. It appears ( and I'm getting smarter these days) that it's just another hybrid machine thrown out to the public by polaris. I apologize for this in advance as I have been over in the polaris threads defending Suzuki but, it is a known FACT that polaris has the worst service record of ALL machines. Vinson is truly one of the best machines out there. You won't be sorry!

 

Okay but tell me exactly what the the Vinson does better than the Scrambler.

1. Which is faster?
2. Which is better in mud?
3. Which is better in rocky creek beds with 2 feet of water?
4. Which climbs hills better?
5. Which is better for tight turns on trails?
6. Which has a better feel?
7. Which is more comfortable?
8. Which is more reliable?

I'm not questioning that you think the Vinson is better but I need to know why? Thanks.

 

i am not answering you ? because i own a vinson, but out of honesty, the vinson will win hands down in all catagories. remember a scrammy has no low range, a huge down fall in deep mud or water or hillclimbs, the only thing it might have on the vinny is wheelies, but i can ride em long enough on my bike say 100ft. right.

 

the vinson will take it in all places but top speed. one od my frinds has the scrambler adn it will beat my vinson is speed but i handles like a box on weel and it just feels like ur in a car that wont turn good i just dont like itit feels like the handle bars are like by ur chin. adn his is always in the show andhe always gets kis belt wean and i need to push him out and he has a very low gc like 5.5 inces i think and the vinson has like 10

 

Thanks a lot guys I think I'm off to get a Vinson. Do any of you know if dealers will cut a deal on a 03 model since it will soon be 2004? If they are the same price could I maybe get some free extras?

Also, are there any advantages the 04 has over the 03?
