Default Header/pipe for LT500 Zilla

I have a DG on my zilla and am looking for somthing not too expensive to replace it cause I've heard the DG pipe does just about Sh*t for it. Paul terner, FMF, any body have a preference or know what other companies make em for the Zilla

"Not too expensive" is the problem. The best bang for buck pipe out there for the ZIlla now is the Paul Turner/Duncan. IF you can find someone with a used LRD, then that is by far the best pipe ever made for them. Trinity also makes a decent pipe.

how is $219 for paul turner pipe from:
http://www.motojoe.com/atv/paulturne...s/2strokes.htm

You think that includes silencer or no? if not what silencer is a good bang for my buck. Im not looking for the best im looking for the best at a non azz raping price cause im goin to college next year and I need to save all the loot I can. Should I just stick with my DG for a while?

If you want the best for cheap, get the Paul Turner with no finish for $219 (that does not include the silencer), paint it high temp gloss black (cheap, remember?), and mate it to your DG exhaust. Then sell your DG header pipe on Ebay to recoup some cost. That's the cheapest and best possible option short of scoring a used Paul Tuner header pipe on Ebay or elsewhere. Used LRD exhausts run around $500! An LRD will outperform a Paul Turner only if significant porting is done IMHO.

I don't know why people ignore the Trinity IV Pipe . It performs just like the LRD pipe, as a matter of fact most people think thats what it is! I have been running the pipe for about 4 months and let me tell you this is one awsome performing pipe and its reasonable priced. I had the FMF before and that thing is a very poor performing pipe on the zilla. Now I'm not a big fan of trinitys engine work but this pipe sure is awsome.

I've had two pipes that were both painted with high temp paint and neither of them held up past a couple of rides. Just FYI.

Yeah Rod, the Trinity is a good replacement for the LRD but doesn't it perform better on a moderately to highly ported engine. I think a PT would perform better on a stock engine. Do you agree? Howz your jug ported?

I'd have to agree with you Vegas, my bike has extensive porting work done to it. But if you plan on making any changes this pipe really responds well.
