Default Jet-Ski engine in a quad??

I have a Suzuki/Artic Cat 650 2-stroke, Twin Cyl engine that originated from a 94 Tigershark Montego. It it about the physcal size of a Banshee. I know that snowmobile engines are popular swaps into quads, but what about Jet ski engines. It would need some form of Cen clutch, but other than that, I dont see why it wouldnt work. Actually, it would probably be better suited for a go-cart. Maybe I should just sell this thing.

For sale, (1) Suzuki/Ar.........................

I think skis intake water to cool the engine so that may also be a problem.

A 650 2 stroke go kart? Can I take it for a spin?

Hey,your better off finding a skidoo engine...those jet skis do take water in to cool them off...
p.s. try and find a polaris 800 or a thundercat 1000!VERY FAST!

Or..... You can just make it a fast DRAG BIKE!!! Just put a two gallon jug of water on the back or front of the bike and when you start it up just let the water go and tear up the track!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

YEA..........lol, why would you do that when you can make a better drag bike out of a skidoo engine and still ride in dunes and other stuff.
yea and i was also wondering how people hook up the sprokets on skidoo engines to work.

Why waste the money when he has the engine all ready. If your going to spend the money on an engine then forget the jetski and go snowmobile cuz those things get it. I would do with what you got and see how that works, I bet it would drag pretty good.

Yes that would be an option as well but I think the jetski motor pumps the water pretty fast. Hey, if it blows up it blows up but you had a chance to try it. JMO If I had an option like that I would MAKE it work. hehehehe
