I'm doing my first ever rebuild on a 1985 LT230 quadsport and trying to learn as I go. The top-end is now torn-down and I'm finding that I have a small amount of play between the rod and the crank. Is this normal? Seems like there would have to be some play but how do you know if it's too loose?? Really don't want to tear-down the bottom-end if I don't have to. Can anybody help??
