Default What Happens If...

hey i was just wonderin if it would hurt anything if you mixed another oil in your quad then the stuff you have in there now. my 250 needs new rings as you know it burns oil. its a little low and i dont feel like driving to get some new oil. what if i mix in some 10w-40 with the 10w-30 i have in there now, will it be a bad idea.

Default What Happens If...

i was told i shouldnt because the oils could serperate from eachother... but i really dont think they would once the motor is warm.
i dont see it hurting anything...

if you need new rings, then your gonna have to atleast hone it, so i dont see any reason why it should matter, if it kills it, its not like you werent needing to tear it down anyway
