A die grinder or angle grinder. Is it the nut that is stripped, or a bolt? Cuz if it is a nut, you may be able to cut it off. The best way (if you have a lot of them) is to invest in the Craftsman Bolt-Out™ Damaged Bolt/Nut Remover Set

A nutsplitter is always handy. Looks like a small c clamp with a wedge on one side. You actually cut the nut right off. Grinding them out isn't horrible, but should be last tried thing. Soak them with penetrating oil for a while. PB blaster is fairly good. The best things I have found for rounded nuts and bolts is a good set of channel locks.

Stripped nuts Help!!!
I dont know how to explain the tool, but if you have enough room to comfortably get a wrench on the bolt then there are a special wrench, it is for stripped bolts the end is closed and as you pull tighter it pushes this rounded piece of the handle into the nut , which in turn loosens it, i hope someone on here can make sence of this... lol
Good luck, oh yeah a new set of quality vice grips works better than a old set...

Where are the stripped nuts located? If you got space a small pipe wrench works great. welding nuts to the existing ones works great also, also if you can borrow a torch setup heating them up cherry they get on they they should come right off, as long as you wont damage anything by heating them up.
