Default Gorrila CV axels for vinson

How are the relibility of these make of cv joints? are they are much stronger alternatiove to stock, and will it allow me to gain more than the standard 2" lift kit. for rock hounding i want or really like the ability to have ground clearance, is this possible to obtain a 4" lift, they say 3" or more, but will ths put to much strain on the joints?

I bought heavy duty Rockford CV's for my Vinson. Just the outer joint. It is 1/2" bigger in dia. than stock. The cage and ball are alot bigger and stronger also. I don't think you could fit a bigger on in without it rubbing on the balljoints. On the invoice is says Gorilla Cv's. They were $239.00 ea.

I had a 2" lift on mine but I tooh it off. It seemed way to tippy and handled alot worse. It gave me ground clearance at the floorboards but not at the rear axle. I felt more secure with out it on the rocks. I ride on some very rough trails.
