I was wondering how good your quadsport through the snow. What kind of tires do you have and any mods.

I have an 88. It doesn't go through snow to well. I have Holeshots. A pipe and filter upgrade also. Anything above 8 inches and I am not moving.

Thomas, I have found that the best way to get a grip in the snow is to get a tire with horizonal bars on it like a black water or a realator, These tires are heavy though and you will lose some speed. I also have a full bottom skid on my zilla which helps keeps her from hanging up on the frame. I have a set of sand skate2's and a set of Razor backs that are mounted on 7 inch wide front rims ( to improve floatation) they work well in deep snow, and throw a hell of a roost, but it is a weird feeling to get used to it.
I wouldn't waste money buying sand tires for snow unless you can get good use out of them and the 230 might not turn them very well as it is hard on the machine. Hope this helps ---See ya in the woods
