Quadmaster Soundoff
#1
I have owned several Quads, 87 Honda TRX350 4wd, 98 Honda 300 4wd, 97 Sportsman 500, 98 King Quad, 98 Honda Foreman 400, and I recently purchased a 2000 Suzuki Quadmaster. After carefull consider-ation of all brands, models, and prices I chose the Quadmaster based on its features like steel floorboards and racks, selectable 2 or 4wd, semi independent rear suspension, auto trans with excellent engine braking, and 500cc water cooled engine. From my experience this is the best Quad I have owned. If Suzuki offered a selectable locking front differential like the King Quad has
on the Quadmaster / Quadrunner they would take the Throne from the Polaris SP 500. The new Honda Rubicon has a nice new transmission but falls short in the suspension and selectable 2wd/4wd
areas. The Quadmaster / Quadrunners are not popular machines with the general public because of Polaris, Honda tunnel vision, simular to Ford vs Chevy. So with the local dealer in the Phoenix
area selling these unpopular, overstocked, feature packed, Quads for an out the door loaded in your truck price of $5000.00 it was an easy decision to pass on the Hondas, Polaris, etc.
So, if your listening Suzuki lets have a lock-
ing front differential on the Quadmaster/Runner
and De-throne the Polaris!
