HI .CHECK YOUR REEDS IF THEY ARE OPEN A LITTLE IT WILL BE HARD TO START. I RUN ALCOHOL AND IT IS HARD TO START. NEVER HIT THE GAS TRY THAT.MERAL

Default carb question on lt250r

I like badchads idea. The primary, or pickup, or both coils could have a few shorted windings, thereby reducing the effectivness of the magneto by making the coils smaller. Smaller coil equals less produced voltage. That could explain your intermittent on/off sparks.

Send me a PM if your still in the dark and I'll send you the electrical system spec's if you need them. Ill scan em out of the manual or something.

Default carb question on lt250r

i did a test with a digital OHM reader. looks to be the pickup coil is gone. i should have it done by tuesday and will let you guys know.
