ive been thinking of a hybrid monster machine with a zilla engine and the lt250r frame just need some mounting info and how much an good to excellent zilla engine would go for

i've seen crappy zilla engines, the ones with the sprocket threads broke, go for around $800! on ebay.

 

Yep, grab your ankles if you want to buy a complete motor!!!!

There is a big surge of folks out there that are restoring these antiques, so the parts are going for big bux...
It's bad enough to buy all the parts seperately and build your own...

Before you buy the zilla engine, make sure that your 86 frame has enough upgrades to handle all that power. Longer A-arms, front shocks and swingarm are mandatory. Gussetting the known weaknesses in the frame would also be a good idea.

 

go to inland atv .com. they have a zilla there with a trinity motor and other goodies.they said they were parting it out. i e mailed them for some parts and ended up having to call california,but i got what i needed!

 

Don't buy the trinity motor from inland atv,buy yourself one that's stock and take it anywhere but trinity racing to have it modded.

 

trinity motor no good?guess they should stick to banshees.whats the problem?
