I was just wondering what you guys think suzuki will come out with to keep up with the competition. Personally I think they knew Yamaha and Honda were going to come out with their 450s so that is why suzuki sold the z to artic cat and kawasaki, and now I think they are either going to make the 400 run with the 450s or come out with their own 450 in 05. I think it is going to be in 05 because In a recent issue of dirtwheels there was an interview with doug gust, and they asked him how his z would run with the new 450s. He said that his z would run with them easy because his is fixed up, but then he said that he thinks that suzuki should release their 05 models early so they keep up with the Yamaha and Honda 450s stock. I was just wondering what some opinions on suzukis plans are.

 

There have been many posts about this. Suzuki released the RMZ 250 dirtbike in 04. That engine will be the basis for the new 450 zuki quad. Its possible in 05, but more probable as an 05.5 or 06

 

Actually they already have the motor, it's the RMZ450 and it is supposed to be released in August. The bike made it's debut a few months ago and it's been rumored that the quad version isnt far behind. I'll be first in line when it does happen! (hopefully this year)
