Default Suspension work ie shock rebuilds

I have an 86 Q'Racer I recently bought that has, I think, White Bros shocks on it (it has their label). They have the remote reservoirs with a hose on the front.

I have a hunch they need rebuilt. I notice on the road the front wheels seem to bounce a bit. I haven't caught any air yet. I'm sure they would need stiffer springs with my 240lb frame too. I know little about the shocks, can you guys give me some pointers? I'd appreciate it.

I have talked to various shock builders/rebuilders about my 87 LT. Some don't tell you a thing, and some like the guy at Works are very informative. The LT front geometry leaves much to be desired, and at your size it would be quite illuminating to talk right to a good shock builder about what to do with yours. Since you have probably a pretty good shock to begin with, you could get them set up for your own conditions for reasonable money and vastly improve your rig.

Try MX tech as well. They rebuild all kinds of shocks.
