I just bought my son a 2002 50. i dont know much about the 2 stroke engines but the thing runs like a top. I do have 1 problem though. After ridding for about 20 mins the bike goes dead. When i fire it back up it misses so bad it will not run at all. it just sputters and misses at wide open throttle.

The catch. i can remove the sprak plug let it cool and clean off the plug a little "which is not fouled just running real lean" pull on the pull cord, put the plug back in and she runs like new for the next 20 mins. What is up with this?
the plug is the right one,but i dont understand. its like it gets hot and the shuts down.

any help would be greatly appreciated.
