keihin idle adjustment?
#2
If I remember right there is a vertical **** on the left side of the carb that controls the idle mixture and the enrichener circuit for cold starts.
Pulling up on the **** will click it into the enrichener circuit. Snapping the **** down once it is warmed fully puts it back into the idle circuit then you can turn the **** clockwise or counter clockwise to adjust the idle speed . The **** turns either way many turns. Start with the **** in the middle of its adjustment...then turn it slowly one way or the other to get the best idle. Once you get in the ballpark turn it slowly to let the engine settle into the new idle mixture before making another adjustment . Its easy you'll get it.
Obviously your carb has to be in good working order and jetted right (pilot jet) or no adjustment will make it idle smooth.
