Ok I know this isn't a susuki but the same bike and I see alot more hits here than in the AC forum..... Buddy has a DVX400. He just got a K&N intake kit, LRD slip on and a Dynojet kit..... we also removed the airbox lid.... We put it all together and jetted to a stage2 per Dynojet instructions..... well it runs like crap, it sputters, hesitates, can't figure it out. I know I probably need to tweek the jetting but it can't be THAT far off. What else could be wrong???

I remember a while ago we tried to remove the spark arrestor from the stock pipe and take the airbox lid off, we jetted up 2.5, then 5, then 7.5, then 10... could never get it to run right.

I would think that it's still way too rich if it's sputtering and hesitates. Check the plug color... if it's black/sooty then it's too rich... if it's white, then it's too lean. You want the plug a nice tan color. Use the search function... search for "jetting" and "sputters" in "Title OR Body", click the forums you want to search on (I did Suzuki and Yamaha) and you'll find what you're looking for. Don't forget to turn out your air screw too, same thing happened to my z, then I remembered to turn it out, world of difference.
