LT500 engine into Lt250 Frame ?
#1
I'm not the first to attemp this, I was thinking about shoving my 88' Lt 500 engine into a 88' Lt250 Frame ,but is there some one out there that maybe has a kit to do this conversion ? Just to save me a little of fabrication time.
Thanks

No kits, but it's not that difficult. Sprocket alignment and a little frame work and you'll be haulin'
take your time and do it right.... it makes for a great sleeper setup...."Honest, it's only a 250" !!!

Trust me, subscribe to www.macdizzy.com, its only $11. Read and follow the thread in the LT forum entitled "LT 250/500 hybrid RXs". Follow DR. Q's advice and you will save yourself much $, grief, and time. There is another Rx on the LT500 motor you should read as well. Read the LT250 Rx if needed so you can improve the frame and gusset it properly. If your serious about LTs, you'll love this site.
