Vinson junk
My vinson is junk!! It's an 02 auto and it's the most guttless peice of crap i have ever ridden! The motor boggs down so much sometimes that the tires are barely turning, even in low. All the dealers say it's fine, but i know there too lazy to even check it out. I only get about 50 miles to a tank of gas and i noticed that the spark plug is quite black. Does anybody know what is wrong with it?

You got a problem! The vinnie is a strong runnin machine.
DO NOT TRUST THE DEALER TECH!!!!!!!!
Yer prolly running rich. Check the vent tube off the carb and make sure there aren't any kinks. Try running it without the airbox lid and filter (not thru mud and dust).
50 miles to a tank aint all that bad. We usually get about 30. Mileage on a quad isnt the same as on a car.

110 miles???
I can see this if you're riding at a good pace on road-like trails. We ride all weekend and maybe put on 30 miles and use almost a tank of gas (not counting reserve). But we rarely get over 10mph except for the occasional blast down an open trail.
This is pretty much the same for all our machines.

Dont run down the suzi....its probably easily fixed and you can do it.
Dont run down techs either, they are like any other job, theres good ones and bad ones.
Try running with out the air box lid on, just for a test ride. If the drivability gets better, then the motor was too rich. Check the basics, plugged air filter or over oiled, choke left on, jetting issues.
Another thing to try...when its acting up, pull the choke on, if it runs better, its lean. If it runs worse, its too rich.
Read up on jetting here, let us know what you find.

I went about 40 miles on a half tank, then filled up mostly, then went another 30 miles on about 1/3 tank. That comes out to almost 100 miles to a tank, right? And we just putt around the house mostly with my daughter or wife riding w/me. I'd guess I average a pathetic 8-10 mph or less. Kinda hard to AVERAGE faster than that it seems, since it's pretty easy to kill an average by going 1 mph for even a short time going over a tree or around something slowly.
