i have an lt80 that has just been rebored and new piston but the people at the shop put it all back together and couldn't get it running right.
it runs ok for about the first 20 minutes but when it warms up it starts to die. the engine will keep running and will rev up but it just won't pull anywhere. everyone i have spoken to as no idea. can anyone help

 

get your money back from the rebuild and maby try the jetting or maby a gasket is messed up

 

Hmmmmm....maybe wrong size piston or rings? Got me stumped.....

 

Hey ask the man called LT 80 he really knows his stuff about the LT 80'S just explain it in detail.He usually hangs out on the kids quad section.

 

I had a freind that put new pistons in his little 50 motorcycle, and when you rode it, it barley pulled, and when it would get hot, somewhere around 20 minutes, it would die. He just kept starting it and eventually it started to run longer every time. Maybe your piston is the wrong size or it needs to be broken in big time. I really don't know if its the same case or not.
