the washer pieces never went down into the cases.they got stuck in the intake port and when i kicked my motor over it sucked in the pieces and they stuck the piston to the head and cylinder wall.one was lodged inbetween the piston and cyl.wall.i hear you.you warned me.if it happens again the cases are comming apart.it says the on rmatv and midwestactioncycle.com that the pin comes with the wiseco prolite kit.but where do i get the thrust washers at?did you end up putting just regular ones back in?

thats wierd nothing came out of the drain hole.must be plugged up.id split the cases and clean everything.then put new gaskets in.i dunno where it could have come from.replace all seals, gaskets, and o-rings in the engine while ur at it.

Stang,
The vent is right where Marky says, there's a hose conneted to it that runs back till it reaches the frame then runs up the backbone and ends right under the middle of the gas tank. The oil sprinkler on your engine is no big deal. The drain plug thing is really weird. I don't see how something can plug that hole.

needaR,
If there's any shrapnel from that washer in the bottom end, it could cost you the crank and/or the cases. Also, if they didn' t do the bottom end when it was recently rebuilt your crank seals might be pretty old. Just something to consider.

geesh..you must have alot of crud in there.did you stick ur finger or something up in the hole to see if its blocked?
Midwestactioncycle.com just told this "With the Wiseco Piston you do not use thrust washers like
you do with the stock OEM Piston." is this true?
also, how long does it take to split the cases?i have rebuilt engines before but never delt with a transmission.i have excelent mechanicial skills.
