Hello:
I'm going to do the first service myself and I know I can call the dealer, but you guys are full of such great information that I thought I would spare myself the call and ask you guys: What is the valve adjustment gap for a 2003 Vinson??? I looked all over the site for it, but couldn't find it anywhere.

not sure,,,,but it is probably printed on a little white sticker located on the quad (like on the airbox cover),,,along with your spark plug gap and such

take a look around

 

The valve adjustments are as follows, IN: 0.05 - 0.10 mm (0.002 - 0.004 in)
EX: 0.17 - 0.22 mm (0.007 - 0.009 in)

You may need to bend the feeler gauge for the exhaust

 

you WILL need to bend the feeler gauge for the exhaust!

 

i broke mine from bending it too far,,,,then just bought the guages with the 45 degree bend in them.....works great
