Z400 Engine vs Eiger 400 engine, what the diff??
#1
Is the z400 liquid cooled? How big is the carb? Is your Z cold blooded? Was there a noticeable increase in power after your engine broke in? Does it seem that your engine makes the most power right through the mid-range RPMs?
As to that last question, I'll elaborate; When I get on it, in third, or even fourth, at first there's just normal acceleration, then at what I'd guess is about 3000 RPM, it really comes on strong, usually spinning the tires if I'm in 2wd and on any kind of dirt surface. I can only compare it to the power band of a 2 stroke, but not nearly as pronounced. Just a lack of low-end torque, then it builds into tire-spinning horsepower. Kind of wacky.
