Default Vinson cam

I'm thinking of a new cam for my vinson, just wondering who has the best one. I'm looking to gain power in my mid and top range.

I just got my webcam from the ups guy a few minutes ago. I plan on putting it in tomorrow. I'll let you know how it turns out.

I put pulled my old cam out wed. before work and put the new webcam in fri. before work. I drove it a couple of times but not enough to give a good report on it. When I put it in 2nd, the front tires came off of the ground and it is easier to slide the rear-end around. I need to get some better tires. I'm going after church tomorrow to the hunting club. I'll find out how it compares with my two friends Vinsons.

It gave me a lot of power. My tires spin in every gear. I am getting some super swampers so I can get more traction. The only thing about the Webcam is they have taken the compression release off of the cam. It is impossible to pull start now.

How does it compare to your buddies Vinsons? I'm thinking of getting a cam also. How long did it take you to install?

It has a lot more power. I haven't raced them yet, but the front becomes very light in every gear when you get on it. It will not ride a wheelie, but that is asking alot out of a 600 lb+ 500cc. If I could get better traction, I'm sure it would do better. My friend is real impressed in the difference between mine and his. It took me about 6 hours, but I did a few other things while I was doing it. I'm sure I could do it in less time. I had a repair manual, inch lb. torque wrench, 8,10,12,14 mm sockets, short skinny screwdriver for the cam chain tension release, .004 and .006 feeler gauge, ect...
