Default QUAD 50 Air Filter Removal

I have a Suzuki QUAD 50 that is hard to start. I have some ideas on what it might be.

Does anyone know how I can get the top off of the air filter so I can clean it.

I was also told it might be a clogged exhaust. Not sure what to do about this if it is

I was told there is a carb restrictor that I can also take off. Anyone know where it it is and know I can get to it?

THANKS TO ALL

The LT50 I have is an '84... the filter cover just pops off so you can reach in and remove the foam for cleaning.

I've read that there are restrictors in the intake and exhaust... I went looking for the one in the intake last night.... not there... either it's already been removed, or never was there on this early model... Haven't looked in the exhaust side yet.

Don't know much about these little things yet... but I'm learning.
