kids and atv's on cbs evening news tonight

Its all relative if you putin perspective... I just don't like how the media is trying to give atvs a black eye-again! They did it to us
back in the late 80's, and now that they are popular again, here comes the media. If parents don't teach the safe use of atv's
to there kids then accidents are going to happen. Why do you think we teach our kids to look both ways before crossing the
street???? This sounds cruel, but if the parents are ignorant engough to not learn, or teach their kids safe operation of atv's
and etc.-then maybe it is just natures way....

well if i was a parent then i would not let my kid on a quad untill they were 16 like it says on the side pannels dont put your kid on a quad untill they are 16 or mature enough to ride one i was 14 when i first rode one i was good i guess it was not mine it WAS my friend (used to be friends) and then they decided not to let any one ride any more becasue of what happend to somepll im not saying who but ya dont let yout children one a quad untill the age 16
and nothing will happen to them
and nothing will happen to them

I disagree, as long as people arnt letting their 10 year olds have a Banshee or a Big bore quad. They should get them a quad they can handle. But take your kid to a safty coures and have them learn it on their quad their gonna be riding.

i was riding at 4 years old
on my lt50 in 1990
im 17 now and i have a 1986 TRX250R, 2002 DS650, and a 1993 Yamaha Wave Blaster 701cc
Ive had my shared of spills but let me tell you, its not how you fall its how you get back up and keep riding
You have to know what to do when taking the fall whether its major or minor....
Me and my friend were at LS, OK and we were riding the dunes on our DS650s, he went over a dune and 10 ft to the left of him i went over the same dune, guess what was at the bottom...a fallen tree...i bailed to the right and let the machine take its course, I can always fix or buy a new quad but my parents cant buy a new Randy Hoover.
ALWAYS WEAR A HELMET!

I see what your saying. Its a hard topic because both sides of why or why not to have a kid ride a atv are correct for certain reasons, Did that make sense ??? Iam 14 and I have riden sine I was 7. And i handle my Warrior bette than some adults I ride w/ can.

yes i agree with you if it hapopens then it happend but really should'nt wait until your mature enough to ride i mean if your parents let you ride when your 4 -when ever then go for it but me CRAEFULL
