its in the shop i get my work done at and its being sold on behalf of a customer so i gave him a call and had a chat, hes not in a rush to get rid so i said i could get the cash together by the end of the month would he take a deposit and he said yes, i cant wait.


the zillas gona be an out an out flat track race machine so i need something for riding day to day and maybee doing some hare scrambles so i think the Z will be perfect,


saving a few quid with buying used so im already thinking of mods for the future,LOL

May wanna wait till you sit on a trx 450. I ride with a few guys that have z-400, they are a blast but my mildly
modded trx 250r pulls on them. I did get a chance to ride the new trx 450 with the HRC hop up kit on it and it
kinda felt like my 250, with no power hit. The lack of power hit is what keeps me away from thumpers anyway.

I just cant justify spending the cash for a thumper. I like my 2 Strokes. I like peoples reaction when they find out
my quads are almost 20 years old.

The new stuff is nice. Maybe I'll get one once they are old and busted...

i know what your saying 2stroke freak, but i am looking for something reasonably mild just for trails and stuff, ive no plans to get rid of the zilla and i do have a LT sat at home thats gona get put together some time soon,

the honda 450 hits the uk this autum i think and if i was gona go that way and hold out for a brand new wheeler i would wait and see what suzuki come up with first,
just sitting on the Z felt good and i think ill be right at home on it and its at the right money, if i start to like the thumper thing i can always think about a big bore kit,

I supose i just want to be realistic about what i do with a wheeler, im 32 this year and only started riding last october so ive no delusions of ever being a competative racer on a mx track or anything, i just want the thumper to be a nice trouble free ride and know ive got a good overal package of performance and handling,

im hoping i can enjoy it prety much stock for a while, as theres still a lot i want to do with the zilla cos i plan to race that at grass track oval events and maybee super moto,

a pred would be on the cards but there a bit pricey for me to get one in the short term future, and sitting on both i do feel right at home on the Z

 

The first time I sat on a Z, I was surprised at how much it fit like my LT. Hondas fit smaller, I've never sat on a R or EX that I felt comfortable on. Pretty suprising considering how similar the EX and Z frames are.

 

hey man get Ive had one for about a year and it is worth the money, ive just put a Dr d pipe, took the air box off and put a k&n and a jet kit and it runs great, i think there better than a 400ex, but the next thing i'll get is a trx450, but yea if i were you i'd get the Z

 

That's really cool that he'll let you do that! You're gonna love the Z! Isn't it a nice seat? Doug Gust actually lives 5 minutes from us. We don't see him much around here though, lol. We went to Tennesse and seen him, lol. I think he travels a lot. He's giving lessons too. $500 a day.
