Can I put a '92 LT motor in an '88 Frame?
#1
I own a '92 LT250R. I am interested in purchasing an '88 frame, swingarm and rear shock. Can I bolt my '92 engine, a-arms, axle and radiator onto the '88 frame?
Thanks,
Frank

I don't mean to be a smart a$$ SLACKER1BOB..... actually the frames are different because of the different linkages, BUT the engines are the same and WILL bolt right in.....
TRUTH I think you will need to get a different mid-pip and silencer (Like I said... I think).
Also I don't know if you are getting frame and swingarm or just the frame but and if you are gettin just the frame you will need to get a 1990 or earlier swing arm and linkage.

Well with that comment you became a dumb a$$, because most people who put any thought into my comment would have realized that I knew the frames were different since I mentioned the rear suspension was different.
