I dragged aginst my uncles 2004 Polaris Sportsman 600 twin cylinder and it was no contest... I wasted him off the line... We dragged on hard dirt and did it like 5 times and i won all of them... So is the Sportsman 600 not as fast as praire 650's and 700's? becuase I always here people saying they beat z400's and raptors with their p650 or p700......

 

No the sp600 is not as quick as a p700 but I'm sure any decent z400 rider would beat a p700 also.

 

Raced a Prarie 650 with 27" gators against a 2004 KFX 400 and hung with him for about 30 feet and he started pulling away. The P700 start off faster than the 650 and beat them in a 100 fot drag by 2 quad lenghts I do believe is what dirt wheels said.

 

The Z has a 200 lb. weight advantage, and those rubber band bikes are a but slow off the line because there is a slight pause as the clutches kick in.

If you hold the front brake and slightly press the gas it engages before you start.

 

probley also burns up you belt, i dont suggest this to people from my experiance with cvt's
