Well I can't say which is better since I have never had both to compare, but I can tell you that I have a Duncan Racing kit and it is agreat kit. They also had some good tech support when I called them up with some issues. I actually talked to Loren Duncan himself and he gave some great insight on the Lt 250R.

Neither, get a real builder, not a Puppy shop, DUneaddict will back me up on this one.

Give these places a call and see what you think

Eric Gorr, super nice guy, reasonable prices, and great turnaround rate

Chad at Holeshot racing--One of the few builders that actually KNOWS the LT500

Tony at T&N performance-another LT250/500 Guru.

At least give these guys a call, after talking to all of them you will see where the knowlege is, "Puppy Shops" and myself and Duneaddict call them are the larger shops that you see the big flashy advertisements for in the mags. There is much less attention to detail, less in the form of customer service, and more in the form of price and turnaround time.

What is your current ride? Also, what are your goals with this quad? MX? Trails? Drag?,ect. As far as parts, I belive Duncan will have the better selection. Im sure that both of them use "Cool Head" heads, Pipes would probably be a toss-up, but you could do better than both of them in this area. Reed cages are pretty much the same between the 2 also. Very little of thier parts are actually "thiers".

Mac Racing Inc. 1-503-390-0094 ask for Brent.I know they work on Zilla engine's and they might do 250's.They have a 580 engine kit for the Zilla, and that's the biggest that I've heard of.They might have a good kit for your engine for the type of riding you do.
