I'm not sure the top speed, but I know riding down the main road i know i travel faster than the traffic. (55mph). It has excellent accelleration. The only problem with it is that it needs a new seat cover. but thats an easy fix. I've spent about 1 month restoring the wheeler and its coming to completion tomorrow.. Yah i have pics, but I just added "My Page" so it will probably be up tomorrow, and plus i have a 12.00 camera so pic quality sucks. ... What kind of rear fenders are on that ? Are those extensions?

Stock rear fenders they where cracked and chipped so I bought some stiff mud flaps and screwed them on , I think they look pretty cool plus they keep the mud of your back.

how does the paint work and what colour is it

so .60 over how manny extra cc is that

Im not sure how many more cc's that is, but Krylon paint is the best paint that actually bonds to plastic. Im not sure how it works, but you need a lot of paint to go over fenders . You need to paint the first coat however thick you want to "bond" to the plastic, and then you apply another layer 24 hrs. later to chip protect it. Its just a semi-gloss white. its called Krylon Fusion.

hey guys, I have a '89 LT250S that I have since new! It has been a great quad all these years. I bored it out .30 over, Aries high comp piston, high lift cam, K&N filter and crappy Cobra exhaust.

the thing new needs fenders like nothing else, zillions of zip ties holding the rears togther.

I think it is one, if not the rarest quad made. it really sucks nobody makes much good after market parts for it, especially fenders.

Well I now have a new '04 Z400 to drool over so a can but O'betsy aside for now, but now everbody wants to borrow her! my new one is my 3rd new quadsport, started with a '86 LT230S!! Go suzi.

P.S. any buddy with some fenders for the 250S please let me know...... FAT CHANCE

Im pretty sure you will have to buy new from suzuki because I have not seen any aftermarket ones and the quad is so rare goog luck finding used ones.

You are right, but i think that 230s fenders will fit. They are a little bit smaller than regular 250s fenders, but they might work. other than that I suggest buying a Plastic welder, and some plastic rods and repairing it like I did to mine.
