Black rims on an Eiger?

Well I got in a bit late on this thread. I was going to say if you want to see how it'll look check some of the Yamahas. They have the factory black wheels on some models. Also regarding painting, I was going to suggest to be sure and clean/sand them well then use an expoxy spray paint. You can get it a local big box stores, etc.
When you get serious about it you'll remove the rims and have them powder coated as someone suggested. That's about the only way to get a real durable paint job. I can never keep the paint on the racks I build. Prime, paint, still won't hold up. The Expoxy on my Rancher racks seems to be doing a bit better.
I thinking about doing the same on that one. But I'm trying to find some green or red plastic first. Not sure orange and black will look good.

Now THERE's a good reason not to do it!!! Wonder who at Honda ever came up with an orange quad. Red, green, heck even maybe yellow....but orange??
