the one time i ran i got away, i was probley exceeding the speed limit, it was a 45 zone, and i was on my rm 250, i was probley doing about 50, estimate, all the sudden a cop trys to freakin come out of noware, and HIT ME!, i was like wtf, and just clicked it into 4th, and then into 5th, he thought it would be a kid on a bike, little did he know that when i pounded it id be gone quicker than a viper, he was in a camaro to, state police. he tryed to pursue me for a little, and i lost him when i hit the bottom of 5th, and by when it was wound out, i couldnt even see him, then i ducked into the trail. But get this i live up a private road, and once and a while they come up to check up on things which is ok. i saw the same cop on my street, and i was on the bike, and i was like oh shoot. so i stopped, because he couldnt do anything on a private road. i talked to him, and he was really nice, he goes did you remember how fast you were going, on that road, and i said no. he said on my radar when i chased you had it pushin 109, and you lost me, he goes what kinda make is that thing, so i told him, and he said sorry to chase you, people on that road have been getting complaints about people on there property, he just told me if i am going to be on the road just ware a helmate, and try to obey the limit, i couldnt belive it, some cops around here are major a$$es.

See a lawyer. Ignore all of these dudes telling you to "take your medicine" . The underage ticket may be big trouble. In NJ that underage ticket will prevent you from getting your licence untill you're 21.

Defend yourself the best you can. By all means pay your penalties, but AFTER you do your best to minimize the fines. If all else fails, contact the prosecutor and talk to him about reducing the charges, often this helps.

If you were a cop's kid, you wouldn't have gotten the tickets. If your dad was a congressman, the charges would be reduced. Your mom is a tax payer, defend yourself.
exactly bsb

but also..cops just don't want you to have fun, and when they have to be dicks and try to get you in trouble for whatever they can, then why the hell would you just not care and don't do anything. Try your best to get out of paying and see if the wrong adress can get the case thrown out.

I have also heard if the wrong info is on the ticket it can possibly be throwed out. But The one thing I have learned over the years is that basically cops can (and will) do whatever they want. It might seem wrong, but hardly anyone obeys every law 100%.

Even if the ticket has the wrong info, the cop can/will reissue tickets with the correct information on them. Cant beat the cops if you get caught and they care to follow up. Ask for a supporting deposition at court and hope he is too lazy to fill one out. Then your ticket will get dismissed. Unless he gets overtime for coming to your court appearance, then you are screwed.

Just fess up for what you did.

take it like a man and say "thank you" when they are done with you

Chances are they will give you more consideration if you present yourself in a mature apologetic manner.

Its not the end of the world,,,,its a traffic ticket. It will probably get reduced in fine.

80, 70, 60, 50,,,,,you probably would have been breaking the law whatever the top speed was.

Show the authorities what a gentleman this particular atv rider is!!!!

It will make us all look better.

Unfortunately,,,,it is so easy to break the law on an atv in most communities ,,,,,just nowhere legal to ride,,,,,so you end up getting pinched.

does anyone know like a average price. How much would it be per year to get your quad registered, and insurance? cause that would save a few tickets.
