SUZUKI playing the Honda game?
#11
By coming to the market late, a manufacturer can see what everybody else is doing, and improve on it. This is what Suzuki did with the Z400, and took a good deal of market share from the 400EX. Maybe after the LTZ comes out, there will be a lot of Yamahas and Hondas up for sale???
On the other hand, it is pretty clear that quad development follows way behind dirt bike engine development. The Suzuki dirt bike isn't even out yet, so I wouldn't expect a quad this year, or maybe even next.

If the dirt bike doesn't have EFI, don't expect to see it on any quad! If you want to know what's coming next, in terms of engines anyway, keep an eye on the dirt bikes!
The next wave is going to be the 250 class 4-strokes! Hot little bikes on LIGHT, MEDIUM SIZE FRAMES! The dirt bikes are getting 30+ hp out of these engines. That is as much hp as the 400 class bikes are getting now.
Word is that Honda has a light 250 4X4 in the pipeline. Will this be the REAL sport/ute??? It's a good time to be a dirt rider!!!

i agree with some of you guys, suzuki is waiting to get everything worked out on the dirtbike, then they'll put it on there 450 quad. They probably will lose some riders. but real suzuki fans will wait for the new quad. I think it will be as good or even better than the expectations.
