Default Small solution to a winch?

Does anyone know of anything similar to a come-along that I can carry on my Z250 incase I get stuck? I have been using the suzuki alot more now since the grizz is having reliability issues and I have no winch, so I am looking for alternatives....

I have seen a small crank style winch on e bay. It was small, under $50 and was originally an accessory for a Kawasaki I think.

if you get stuck on a strait axil atv all you need is some good nylon rope. tie one end to the axil and the other to what ever is close and solid then put it in gear and go. the rope winds up on the axil and out you go. a poor mans winch but it works.

The Black Max looks like it would bend or break the racks if it was under any amount of load, I use a 2 ton come-along. Quite a bit cheaper, and a lot more pull for the money. One thing, you should carry some chain and a grab hook to use with it, rope stretches and the length of the chain is easy to adjust with the grab hook.

Ahhh, the ol' tire winch. It's easiest to have a rope with a loop at both ends. You loop around a tree, or another bike, and place the other loop around the tire tread.
