Hey guys!
Geez ya know an old buddy of mine raced his 500 on the mx tracks and got sponsers for his
success, I'm not really sure of what he had on the machine for suspension but I know he had
abit of motor work in it. He had "sidewinder"wanting to sponser him { now this was in the late 80's} and they told him to try out their chain and sprokets at the track...well he took a couple of
"hot laps" and snapped the chain, and he turned them down for the sponsership because he
said he didn't want to have to worry about breakin a chain. So he was picked up by Renthal.
But as to the question at hand I'm guessing that with what he was able to do with his machine
back then it doesn't seem to be an impossible task, and to be a successful one at that even now.
I wish I knew where he was today cause I'd ask him what suspension if any had been done to that machine. But he was like I said very successful with the LT500 mx'n!! Just my 2 cents.
